Passed away peacefully at the John M. Parrot Centre on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerry.
She will be missed by her children Lizette (Sahaj), Robert (Lyra), Catherine (Tim), Dean (Molly), and Ann Marie (Melanie).
Cherished grandmother to Sabine, Gisèle, Jean Paul, Danielle, Blake, Lauren, Cailie, Rowan, and great-grandmother to Quinn, Connor, Kennedy, Sidney, and Alex.
Predeceased by sister Doreen (late Derek) and parents Ubald and Antoinette.
Our Mom was a teacher, a mother of 5 children (and at times to many more), a scratch bowler, and a later-in-life golfer who shot 3 holes in one!
She was a private detective, obtained her pilot’s license at the age of 50, was a real estate agent, and ran her own company. She loved her church,
her community, and most of all her family. She traveled the world with the love of her life, Gerry, by her side, and lived life to the fullest!
While she indulged us in raising horses, rabbits, dogs, and cats, she could, and did, host the best parties. She was a mentor to so many people,
in many different ways. She truly was an amazing woman, and we were lucky to call her “Mom.” She will be missed!
Though she may no longer walk among us, she remains in our hearts—a reminder to cherish our relationships, embrace our passions, and savour every moment.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring, May 10th, 2025, at Heavenly Rest Family of Catholic Cemeteries.
Donations in memory of Gaetane can be made to your local food bank or the charity of your choice.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Bronwen Wood, who left us on December 3rd, 2024. Although her passing was very sudden, she was surrounded by love and went to be with her Lord in Heaven during a peaceful sleep.
Born on May 28, 1947, in Magog, Quebec, Bronwen was the eldest daughter of Robert and Muriel Malcolm. She grew up in a lively and traveling military family, often recounting stories from those good old days. Bronwen went on to become a teacher at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, traveling the world in her profession, and later retired from McMaster University in 2013.
Bronwen was a dedicated mother and the heart of her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Wood, with whom she was set to celebrate their 43rd wedding anniversary this December. Together, they shared a life filled with travel, adventures, and love.
She is survived by her children Kathleen Pereira and her family, Sean Clarke and his family, and Ryan Wood and his family. Bronwen was a cherished Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always hold her in their hearts.
