Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday March 22, 2026. Audrey Viola Abercrombie was 95, beloved wife of Gordon “Guffer” Abercrombie predeceased (1989). Devoted mother of Jim (Barb), Steve (Jo-Ellen), Bill (Stephanie), and Judy (Steve) Turner. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Celine), Dan, Jil Abercrombie, Stacy Porter, Mike (Laura), Dave (Jackie) Abercrombie, Lindsay (Graeme) Weaver, Matthew (Jessica) Abercrombie, Scott (Val), Greg Turner, Sarah (Ian) Currie. Special G.G. of Nolan, Liam, Delilah, Dawsyn, Adelaide, Oliver, Saydee and Camden. Sister of Doreen, Jackie, Ron. Sister-in-law of Hildred, Lula, Jean, Bruce (all predeceased). Survived by her bother Ken Phillips. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Audrey’s favourite thing was family time. She loved gardening, knitting, her cats and HOCKEY. She was an avid fan cheering on her husband, children and grandchildren. Many thanks to her caregivers and friends at Fenelon Court, Lakelands and Dr. Vorster for their exceptional care.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or the Lindsay Humane Society online or via cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home. We will celebrate her life on April 4th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Celebrations – 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay, Ontario.
