ADAMSON, Don Adamson

Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, May 4, 2026, Donald “Don” Francis George Adamson of Tillsonburg and formerly of Dereham Centre passed away at the age of 88 years.

Beloved husband and best friend of Joan (Forrest) for over 65 years. Proud and loving father of Linda Adamson of Tillsonburg and Wayne Adamson (Karen) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of Kristie Wark (Chris) and Jessica Adamson and great-grandfather of Cali and Declan. Don is also survived by nieces, nephews and a cousin. Predeceased by his daughter, Nancy Adamson, his parents, George and Myrtle (Elder) Adamson and his brother, Bruce Adamson.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am. The Memorial Service for Don will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Lori Minler officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at the Mt. Elgin Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or Mt. Elgin United Church would be appreciated by the Adamson family.
