BIDLEVSKII: Adel, aged 96, passed peacefully on October 12, 2026, in Kelowna, British Columbia, surrounded by her loved ones.
Adel was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, before immigrating to Kelowna, BC, where she built a life filled with family, faith, friendship, and love.
Adel was a deeply caring and generous woman who was always willing to help others. She had an incredible memory and a remarkable ability to remember the people, stories, and moments that mattered to her. Her wonderful sense of humour brought laughter to those around her, and she had a special love for poetry and singing.
She found great joy in the simple things in life. She loved animals, cooking, and gardening, and took pride in sharing what she had with others. Her generosity and kindness touched many lives.
Adel was a devoted Christian whose faith was an important part of her life. She loved her church community and cherished the people she worshipped alongside. Her faith, compassion, and love for others were a lasting part of who she was.
Adel is survived by her son, Vladislav, and her grandsons, Artem and Marat, who will carry her memories and the love she gave them throughout their lives.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dolya, and her son, Sasha.
Adel leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, faith, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, church community, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM
