Passed away peacefully after battling a long illness at Extendicare Kirkland Lake in his 80th year.He will be greatly missed by his two sons, Ralph and Marc; three grandchildren, Courtney, Chris, and Lucas; and one great-granddaughter, Harper.
Rene is survived by 18 brothers and sisters, preceded in death by baby Aline, Irene, and Aline. Survived by Jean, Alice, Gerard, Rossaire, Jeanne, Noel, Lucienne, Rita, Marcel, Noella, Gisele, Jacqueline, Maurice, and Leo, along with all family spouses and a large extended family of nephews and nieces.
The burial will be held at St. Laurent Cemetery in Ramore on August 30th at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Larry Brown Hall at 1:00 p.m. at the Legion in Kirkland Lake.
