AMYOTTE, Jean Amyotte

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his (Jean Amyotte) family after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease at the Algonquin Nursing Home (Mattawa) on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at the age of 75 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Pierre (Rita), Maurice, Berthe (Jean Claude), Denise (late Daniel), Guy (Jocelyne), Clement (Lise), Alice (Michel), Diane (Ron), and Evelyne (late Pierre). Jean is predeceased by his sister Simone (George), and brother Robert (Helene), as well as his parents Lionel Amyotte and Marie Jeanne (nee Bedard) Amyotte. As per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at St. Bernadette Church (Bonfield) on Saturday October 10, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, followed by a burial at St. Bernadette’s Cemetery.
