ANDERSON, Bill Anderson

Passed away peacefully at Chapman House on October 22, 2025. Born in Owen Sound on April 2, 1945, William Glen Anderson of Owen Sound was in his 81st year.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved partner, Monica Johnston.

He was the proud biological father of Caillie /Tiffany, and John. He will be sadly missed by his brother Bev (Barb) Anderson of Markdale, and his sister Isabel (Bob) Harron of Kemble. Bill will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law, Allan Williamson of Holland Centre.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy Hopkins and Joe Lundy and his sister Marian Uhrig.

A lifelong fan of horse racing, Bill found great joy and excitement in his favourite hobby. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wiarton Hospital, the dedicated doctors who cared for Bill, and the Cancer Society for their support during his illness.

A funeral service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday October 27th at 11a.m with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
