It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Edward Robert “Ted” Culp announces his passing on February 22, 2026, at the age of 73.Ted was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Ella Culp.He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Naomi Culp (Jason Cooper), Lisa Cawthorne, Susie Culp, Robert Culp (Merina), and Caiden Culp; and by his cherished grandchildren, Teagan and Brennan Marchildon, Brynn and Ray Cawthorne, and Colby and Lauren Culp, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Ted will also be fondly remembered by his extended family, including his siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, all of whom were grateful to have shared in his life.

Throughout his life, Ted embodied the true meaning of service, never hesitating to drop everything when someone needed help, becoming the person everyone knew they could count on. Ted was a devoted father and grandfather who will be remembered for his strong opinions, his political views, and his long ponytail. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him.

A celebration of Ted’s life will be held at the Huntsville Legion Sunday, March 8th 1:00-3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to a charity of your choice.
