It is with grieving hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Anderson at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together, Donald was married to his beloved wife Eva (nee Douglas) on 22nd of November, 1960. Their union was blessed with three children: Donnie (Christine); Danny (Karen); and Kim (Leonard). Donald’s joy was multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren, Mellisa (Daniel), Jason (Miranda), and Steven (Hailee), and later, his great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Cohen and Gavin, who all brought happiness and pride to his life.

Donald was brother to Ruth Anne, Stanley, Gary and Wayne and caring uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Marguerite and his siblings, Larry and David.

Donald’s love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. Whether he was casting a line into a still lake at dawn or in the woods hunting, he appreciated life’s simple pleasures and peace found in the quiet moments.

Donald will be missed by all of his family, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with the service to start at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held following the service at Straffordville Cemetery.
