ANDERSON , Sandra Charles Anderson

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Sandra, whose life began with the sunrise of August 23, 1944, and gently came to rest with the sunset of July 30, 2025.
Sandra was the cherished and loving wife of 63 years to Jean Paul, a devoted and supportive mother to Angèle and Eugene, and the proud Mémère to her greatest treasure, Breanne (Noah). Her family was her world, and she poured her heart into every role she held with grace, humor, and unwavering love.

Predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Lila (née Commanda), and her sisters Joyce and Patricia, Sandra leaves behind many cherished Charles, Anderson, and Commanda family members, including several nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply.

She will be remembered for her fierce love, her sharp wit, and the way her laugh could fill a room. Though we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace.

Sandra’s final years were met with compassionate care from her “angels on earth”, two incredible PSWs, Tammy Beaver-Howe and Gail Restoule-Gagnon, who held a special place in her heart. She adored them almost as much as she adored her granddaughter. Deep gratitude is also extended to her nurse practitioner, Jenna, Dr. G. Labelle, and all the dedicated staff on the second floor of the Au Château for their kindness and attentive care. A special thank you to her family physician Dr. A. Behamdouni.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on what would have been her 81st birthday August 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at NFN hall, 36 Semo Road, Sturgeon Falls. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join us in honoring her memory.

Donations to Au Chateau would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls.
