Andrew Herba

It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Herba of London, Ontario, announces his passing on April 20, 2026, in his 63rd year.
Andrew was born and raised in Bystrzyca, Poland, and immigrated to Canada in 1987 with his wife, Anna, to build a new life together. He spent time serving in the Polish military, and later became a part owner and manager of a restaurant. In recent years, he found a special niche in repairing vintage electronics through his eBay businessβ€”something that perfectly matched his patience, skill, and love for bringing old things back to life.

Above all else, Andrew’s greatest joy was his family. Whether it was sharing laughs around the table, playing a competitive game of Scattergories, or simply spending time together, those moments meant everything to him.

Andrew will be remembered as a kind and generous man with a great sense of humour. He had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease, and his laughter was something you didn’t forget. He enjoyed fishing, searching for hidden treasures, and his dog, Patton, who was his constant companion and never failed to put a smile on his face.
Andrew was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Herba, and will be deeply missed by his children, Kasia and David Herba (Mikaela). He was a loving brother to Krystina (Wes), and a proud uncle to Paul (Linda), Anna (Nathan), and Gosia. He will also be dearly missed by his mother, CzesΕ‚awa Herba, and was predeceased by his father, WΕ‚adysΕ‚aw Herba.

Andrew will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A mass will be held in his honour at the Our Lady of Czestochowa on Monday April 27th at 11:00 AM.
