It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and aunt. Deborah “Deb” Sampson (née Patrick) passed away suddenly on Monday, August 4th, 2025, in her home in King Kirkland, Ontario. She was 52 years old.
Deborah was born in Kingston, Ontario, on July 15th, 1973, to her mother, Janet Bird (Patrick), and her father, the late Wilfred Patrick. Loving mother of Kristopher and Ciaran, loving wife of Todd Sampson, and devoted daughter of Janet. She will be missed by her granddaughter Persephone, her brothers Dave Patrick, Mike Patrick, and Tim Patrick, and her nieces Trisha McGowan, Crystal Gallant, Ashley McGowan, and nephews.
Deborah was known for her talent in sewing and could paint anything. She had an eye for design when it came to her handmade doll clothing. Also known as the “crazy cat lady,” Deborah would take in any animal in need and once traveled for hours to rescue two homeless Siamese cats she loved more than anything.
Deborah lived her life the best she knew and left this earth very suddenly. We will miss her and cherish the time we had with her. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she will be watching over us.
Arrangements: Cremation has taken place, and private family services will be held at a later date.
