It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Toscano, age 73, of Toronto, on August 31, 2026. Anna passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.
Anna was a woman whose greatest joy was her family. She loved them fiercely, completely, and unconditionally. Her devotion could be felt in the thoughtful things she did, the care she gave, and the countless ways she was always there for those she cherished.
Anna was the beloved wife of Rocco Toscano; loving mother of Katarina (Mike); and caring stepmother of Frank (June) and Stephanie (Paul). She was a cherished Nana to Andy, Memphis, and Harper, each of whom brought tremendous happiness to her life. Anna was also a dear sister to Tony (Wendy), Lily, and Dave (Patricia), and will be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends.
Anna dedicated her working years to health administration, taking great pride in helping others. At home, she found comfort and happiness in crocheting, knitting, and cooking. She especially loved hosting family meals and gatherings, bringing everyone together around her table. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with the people she loved.
Anna will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, strength, kindness, and the love she gave so freely. Although she will be deeply missed, the love and memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
