Ante (Anton) Podnar of Burnaby, British Columbia died on October 8, 2026 at the age of 93. Born October 6, 1933, he was survived by his wife Mandica, children Mike, Ben and Mary-Anne Toth, and eight grandchildren. A funeral service was held October 20, 2026 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish in Vancouver with interment at Ocean View Burial Park; arrangements were in the care of Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park.
