He was predeceased by: his significant other Elena; his parents, Pio Mariani and Lucia Mariani; his parents-in-law, Anna Maria and Domenico Sansotta; and his sibling Fil (Monica Sansotta).
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Rasha Mariani), Tanya (Nick Skaff) and Adam (Alana Mariani); his grandchildren, Tristan, Keira, Mariella, Majella, Marciano, Matteo, Alexander, Gianluca, Giordano and Gilia; his friend Cindy Cartwright Madia; and his siblings, Vincenzina (Franco Zeppieri), Rosina (Maurizio Cafueri), Angelo (Alissar Mariani), Giuliana (Walid Kerim), Rick (Josie Zannese), Tina (Christopher Bendo), Nick Sansotta and Angelina (Salvatore DeRose). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Leaving the Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). An entombment will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
