Benjamin, Ashur

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ashur Benjamin, aged 71, who passed away at home in West Vancouver after a battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his father Paul and survived by his mother Cardelia, sister Terry and brother Larry (Ruth), nephew William, niece Alexandra and a very large extended family. His infectious laughter and bright intellect will be missed but always remembered.
Funeral mass to be held Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:30am, St. Anthony’s Church located at 2347 Inglewood Avenue in West Vancouver.
A special thank you to all who helped in Ashur’s care, most especially Dr Bernie Eigl and his team at BC Cancer Clinic and Tara Abrams of Community Home Health Care Program through Lions Gate Hospital for their care.
