In loving memory of Libby (Catherine Elizabeth) Avery who passed away from cardiac arrest on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the age of 48.

Libby was the beloved daughter of Bette Avery and the late Keith Avery (Sept 16, 2024), sister to Erin (James) McNeill, Christa (Matthew) O’Kane, and brother Will (Lauren) Avery. She was a dear aunt to Owen and Iris Avery, and lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends—Catherine, Samantha, Jessica, Chris—and their children Gray, Weston, and Ruby.

Predeceased by her dog Koko (Feb 2025), and lovingly missed by her cats Tubby and Cali, along with many rescue pets she cherished and nurtured.

Despite her physical adversities, Libby’s spiritual strength and devotion to Christ remained unwavering. She lived selflessly, serving others—friends, children, and animals—with compassion and grace.

“Let the Children Come unto me. For such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Church of the Good Shepherd, 677 Niagara St., St. Catharines. Rev. Matthew Seeram and Rev. Gerry Brodie officiating.
