It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Yousif Aziz on June 8, 2025, at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 78. Born on October 6, 1946 in Basrah, Iraq.

Reunited in Heaven with his beloved son Bashar. Loving husband of Mary for 49 years of marriage. Cherished father of Philip, Christopher, and Peter. Beloved brother of Nadia (Tom), Nabil (Jean), and Nael (Hadeel). He will be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph at the same location. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery – Section 25, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
