It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dawn surrounded by the love of her family and friends at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday May 12, 2026 at the age of 52. Loving wife of David Babin for 23 years. Proud and loving Mom of Karis and Rory. Beloved daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and the late Barbara (nee Cameron) Patrick. Dear sister of Dave (Cathy McGregor). Loving aunt of Joshua McGregor and Justin McGregor (Kassandra), Dawn Michelle Babin will be fondly remembered by her loyal furry companion Bill, and the Patrick, Cameron, Babin, Martel families and her many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., S Renfrew on Thursday June 4th from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Friday June 5th at 10:30 am. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Unit.
