Peacefully passed away at Casselholme on Tuesday March 17, 2026, at the age of 100 years. Fernande Balen was the beloved wife of the late Marko (Mike) Balen, and the loving mother to Linda Balen Scott (Stewart), Mark Balen, Peter Balen. She was the cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As per Fernande’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will occur at a later date.
