Passed away following a brief illness, on Wednesday November 26, 2025, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 46.
Dear mother of James Barbeiro (Hannah), Tyler Barbeiro (Briann), and Valerie Aubé (Adam). Cherished grandmother of Kallum Barbeiro, Waylon Barbeiro, and Oceane Barbeiro. She also leaves behind her fur baby Covid and her fur grandbaby Lady.
She is also survived by her siblings Irene Bouchard, Nicole Bouchard (Martin Fournier), Marcus Bouchard (Lysanne), Richard Bouchard (Céline), Line Jacob (Noël), Hélène Aubé, and Pierre Aubé (Jennifer Aubé). She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, as well as her niece Samantha Aubé.
Sylvie really loved to make people happy with simple gestures. Her favorite saying was “I love you more.” She truly adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking her dog Covid for a bike ride every night.
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday December 1st, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LESSARD Reception Centre with a light luncheon to be served. Rather than offering a donation, please raise a drink in Sylvie’s honor. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre.
