Peacefully passed away on September 15, 2025 at Hillsdale Estates, at the age of 91.
Beloved husband of Jean for over 53 wonderful years. Loving Father of Jan McNair (Lockie), Lori Smillie (the late Steve), Dale Bartlett (Sandy), and Stephen Bartlett (Joanne Kieffer). Cherished Grandfather of Bryan (Katie), Nicole (Don), Chris (Christina), Matthew (Zoe), Ashley (Jake), Michael (Bethany), Kristen (Ali), Kaitlyn, Rhys, and Ella and Great-Grandfather of 18.
Dear Brother of Ethel McGibbon and favorite Uncle of Alison and Kim. Jack will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends.
Jack proudly served as both a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force followed by a Policeman in England. Upon returning to Canada is when he began his new career where he worked for Sears and Emerson Electric for many years.
A Man of many talents, Jack was an exceptionally skilled woodworker whose craftsmanship was admired by many. Beyond his abilities, it was his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor that drew people to him.
He was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all those lives he touched. His legacy lives on in the memories he created.

As per Jack’s wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date.
