BARNES, Norma Agnes Ellen Vienneau Barnes

Norma Agnes Ellen Vienneau (née Barnes, formerly Adamson), of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, passed away on June 30th, 2025 at the age of 88. Born in English Harbour, Newfoundland, Norma moved to Toronto as a child where her remarkable journey through life began.

Norma was known for her fierce independence, intelligence, and vibrant spirit. She was a devoted wife to Phil Vienneau, a loving mother to Terry (TJ), Christine (Craig), Cyndi (Drew), and Gary (Nadia), a cherished Nan to many grandchildren, and a proud GG to ten great-grandchildren.

A seamstress, baker, accountant, cancer survivor, and host of holiday joy, Norma’s legacy is one of laughter, strength, and togetherness. She was the glue that held her family together and will be dearly missed.

Visitations will be held at Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach, on Thursday, July 3rd from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A memorial service will take place Friday, July 4th at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow. Interment at Wasaga Beach Cemetery.
