After a brief battle with cancer, Barney passed with family by his side on November 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Elaine (nee Clayton) for 58 years. Cherished father of Travis Barnicoat (Amanda) and Warren Barnicoat (Tricia). Proud Grandpa of Nathan, Julia, Liam, Evan and Alyssa. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Marjorie. Survived by his brother Raymond.
Barney spent 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Mechanic, retiring as a Sargeant. He then dedicated 10 years to Chrysler. Barney loved travelling, long drives and soaking up the sun. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no further services.
