BARRETT, Stephen Arthur Barrett

Peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 50 years to Susan Barrett. Proud father of Joey (Monica). Cherished grandfather of Connor, Celine and Bianca. Special great-grandfather of Levi and Jack. Stephen Arthur Barrett will also be remembered by his sister Ruth (Maurizio). Predeceased by his brother Dave. Also remembered by David’s wife Steph. Stephen will be greatly missed by Susan’s Family (The Barclay Clan), his niece, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, July 16th, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Words of remembrance will begin at 5:00 pm. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Stephen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
