Patti Jane Barton

Peacefully, at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, November 27, 2025, Patti Jane Barton (née Bennett) entered into the presence of Her Saviour at the age of 70.

Predeceased by her parents Bob and Muriel Bennett and sister-in-law Carolyn. Loving mother of Matthew (Jessica).

Survived by her loving husband of 50 years Alan Barton, brother Rev. John (Charlene) and by sister-in-laws Nancy (the late Brent), Anne, and Gwen (Darren). Cherished aunt to Angela (Jeff), Ryan (Allison), Nicholas (Ashley), Samantha, Alison (Cameron), Russell, Andrew (Laura), Bethany (Jason), Caleb (Renee) and several great-nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her extended family and her many friends.

Relatives and friends may attend a celebration of life at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street E, Brockville on Saturday, December 06, 2025 at 1 pm.

In keeping with Patti’s wishes her body has been donated to science.

In memory of Patti, donations to the Brockville and Area Food Bank or Samaritan’s Purse Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We were blessed by the care and kindness of friends, neighbours and health providers, including Dr. Premji, nurse Chelsea, physiotherapist Emma, and especially the PSWs who daily encouraged her and ministered to her needs.
