BAXTER, Frances Scott Logan Baxter

With heavy hearts the family announces Frances (Fran) Logan (nee Baxter) of Cambridge, Ontario passed away on June 21, 2025 with loved ones by her side after complications from a battle with dementia.

Beloved wife of Edward (Ed) Logan (d. 1996); cherished mother of Deborah (Stephen), Catherine, Scott (Christine), Jeffrey (Virginia), Bradley and loving grandmother to Robert, Rebecca, Erica, Christopher, Callie, Drew, and Blaire. Great-grandmother (Gigi) to Willow, Blake, Jack, Oakley, Hayes, and Clayton.

Frances was the oldest of four siblings and survived by her brother Bruce and predeceased by parents Margaret and Henry, sister Barbara, and brother Duncan.

The family takes comfort in knowing dementia did not take Fran’s memory of her loved one’s names or her smile when family and friends walked into the room for a visit. Knowing Fran is reunited with Ed after being apart for 29 years and her beloved dogs (Cinnamon, Mini, and Rusty), family have peace with her passing.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the doctor, nurses, and staff at Hilltop Manor in Cambridge for their care and kindness over the past year.

To honour our mother’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.”
