BAYES, Ronald Ronald Hartley Bayes

The family of Ron Bayes of Etobicoke is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the age of 93 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Lexie; his children, Sheila (Bruce), Keith (Allison), Mark (Sylvia), Allison (Jamie); his grandchildren, Casey, Lauren, Craig, Paul, Matthew, Adam, Carlee, Hayley; and his 9 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sister Barbara Watson (Ken) and his brother Edward (Ted) Bayes (Janet).

Ronald Ronald Hartley Bayes built a life anchored in hard work, honesty and a good sense of humour.

He always enjoyed family get-togethers, travelling with Lexie and friends, gardening, listening to music, playing and watching baseball and golf. He enjoyed a cold beer on a hot day and a glass of red wine with family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at Martingrove United Church, 75 Pergola Rd, Etobicoke.
