It is with both sorrow and serenity that we announce the passing of Rosemarie Beaulieu on October 28, 2025, at the age of 73. She was the beloved mother of Amanda Semley (Amber) and cherished grandmother of Brierly, Elliott, and Finnegan. She was also the loving sister of Richard and dear aunt to Justin and Jessica. She was predeceased by her parents, Real and Katherine Beaulieu.

Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1999, Rosy became a long-time resident of the Foyer Richelieu in Welland, where she lived for the past 20 years. She was known for her kind heart, radiant smile, infectious laugh, and unwavering faith. A devoted Catholic, Rosy has now found peace in God’s embrace and will be forever missed by those who loved her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at the Foyer Richelieu, who cared for Rosy from the beginning of her journey and ensured her comfort and peace in her final days.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Center, 827 East Main St., Welland, ON. Following Rosy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In her memory, donations may be made to your local charity, the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society of Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.

“It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” — Epictetus
