It is with very heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved William “Bill” Brian Beesley on September 10th, 2025, in his 77th year. William was born on December 14th, 1947, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to John and Beryl Beesley, and was one of four children.
William leaves behind his beloved wife and soulmate, Rita, with whom he spent 41 wonderful years. He will be greatly missed by his brothers James (Nancy), Steven (Catherine), and Brian (Jenny), as well as his sister-in-law Elisa. He is now reunited with his parents, his brother-in-law, Carmine, his father-in-law, Errico, and his mother-in-law, Maria.
He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors, whether he was out for a run, or walking, he was happiest when he was immersed in nature. He also enjoyed spending time reading, listening to music, and playing games. William loved to spend time with children and animals, especially his dogs, Shennon and Newton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s memory to Hospice Vaughan.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
