It is with profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Leslie on Friday May 2, 2025 at the age of sixty. She was the loving wife to her husband James, caring sister to Valerie ( Mark ) and loving aunt to her niece Sydney. She will be forever missed by her extended family, friends and all who knew her. Leslie was the daughter to the late Jacqueline and Charles Bernard.
When Leslie worked in her professional capacity as a drug addiction counsellor, she found the work personally gratifying as she realized the positive impact on her clients.
From a very early age Leslie was drawn to knitting and cross stitch. As her talent progressed, she became a professional knitter of astounding artistry and ability. All the treasures she created with her own hands will be forever cherished. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Leslie’s life will be announced at a later date.
