Beverly Ann Burr

Beverly passed away peacefully at the age of 88 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Beverly leaves behind her sons Bradley Burr and Mark McLelland (Clair), along with her grandchildren Declan, Corey, and Caleigh, and her nieces Shelley and Lorie.

Beverly was predeceased by her husband James Burr, her brother Robert Hummel, and her parents Doris and Arthur Hummel.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Preston and spent many years working in the Guidance Department at Preston High School where she made many friends, both students and staff. Her wit and sense of humour will be missed by all those who knew her.

As per her final wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her parents at Parklawn Cemetery in Cambridge.

Beverly loved animals and any donations in her honour can be made to the Cambridge Humane Society.
