Forever In Our Hearts
Walter “Wally” Biernacki passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Doreen (née Epp), in March 2000.
Wally was the loving partner of Lis Balson. He will be dearly remembered by his son Dean (Angela) and daughter Dana. He was a proud grandfather to Jonathan, James, and Lauren McCormick (Eric Zijdemans), and a cherished great-grandfather to Pim and Luka. Wally was a devoted brother to Violet Adams and Richard and was predeceased by his siblings Anthony and Jacqueline Vye.
Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax) on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated in Wally’s memory.
