It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Bilic announces his passing on July 7, 2026, at the age of 66. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family and listening to his favourite music.
He is survived and remembered and deeply loved by his wife of 41 years, Jesenka; his children Ivana and Boris, of whom he was so very proud; and the countless people he influenced through his work and mentorship. His warmth, positivity, kindness, and curiosity left an impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and hearing one of his stories. His absence is deeply felt, and the world is a little less bright without him in it. He missed his sister, mother, and father very much, and we hope that he’s getting the chance to catch up with them now after so many years.
A memorial service and party will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on July 18 2026, from 2PM to 5PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research, two causes close to Bill’s heart.
