passed away peacefully at Fairfield Nursing Home on November 7, 2025.
Predeceased by his spouse Mary Louise (nee Havens) Blommers (2014).
Survived by his son Ron (Beth) of Halifax and daughter Brenda (Phil) Laird.
Loving grandpa to Matthew (Alyssum), Jessica (Ben), Marley and Hunter.
Great grandpa to Hope, Grant, Drew, Weston, Allie and Beckett.
Survived by sister Corry Boone and sister-in-laws Cecile (Rene Bossy), Christine Pinsonneault, Maggie Ward and brother-in-laws Ron Havens (Linda) and Don Havens, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by siblings John Blommers, Rita DeLyzer, Pauline McConnell and Peter Blommers.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and November 15, 2025 from 10:00am – 12:00pm with the Funeral Service starting at 12:00pm. Cremation to take place at a later date.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Grand Retirement for the wonderful memories and the staff at Fairfield Nursing Home for the great care they provided.
