Passed away peacefully after a long-term illness on April 18, 2026, at the age of 71. Beloved husband, best friend and soulmate to his wife of 37 years, Susan Boland (Hanna). Loving father to Thomas Boland Jr. (Allison), and Jessica Boland. Son of the late John Boland and Isobel Anderson. Predeceased by his brother Ian Boland.
Born in Montreal, Thomas Patrick Boland moved to Kemptville in 1988 after meeting his wife, where they built a life together and raised their two children before downsizing and settling in Ottawa where they wished to spend their later years. Tom had a life-long career as a truck driver where he travelled all of Canada and the USA on long-haul runs, spending the last decade of his career closer to home. Tom enjoyed vacations to the Caribbean, Alaska and most notably Scotland in his later years. Tom spent his last year enjoying reading, watching his favourite television shows and movies, and spending time with his family.
