BOND, William John Bond

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William J. Bond of Brooklin, Ontario, on Saturday, April 26, in his 79th year.

Originally from Orillia, Ontario, Bill earned his accounting credentials and took on professional assignments in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Eventually returning to Toronto, he founded RAB Management Services, offering insightful and effective solutions to both corporations and individuals.

Upon retirement, Bill turned his love for history into a pursuit of art and antiques. His knowledge and eye for authenticity often led to his collaboration with the film industry, where he provided era-appropriate set enhancements.

Predeceased by his parents, Bill was a devoted and doting grandfather to Caden and Evan. He leaves behind his son Ryan (Gwen) of Brooklin, his sister Gwendolyn (Don) of Lindsay, and his brother Al (Sandra) of Oakville, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends across Canada, Europe, China, Brazil, and the USA.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.

With a ready smile and strong will, Bill was a warrior, a man of conviction and integrity, and a wonderful friend. He lived by the Golden Rule, never believing in complaining or explaining. The world is now a lesser place—we will miss him dearly.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home.
