BORETSKY, Veronica Boretsky

Passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on June 8, 2026. Cherished daughter of Walter (2000) and Mary (2004) Boretsky, and sister to Rev. Harry Boretsky OSBM (1994). Veronica Boretsky is remembered with affection by her sister Rose (Julie) and the extended Emery family. Veronica retired from the WECDSB after 35 dedicated years, as a well-respected teacher, and coach where she was much loved by her students and colleagues. Upon retiring from education, she went on adventures to Africa, Australia, and Europe where she got to experience the world by going on a safari and even getting to go on bike tours throughout Europe. She continued her active social life in sport by kayaking, cycling, and sailing. Veronica was proud of her Ukrainian Heritage. Though no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
