BOUCHER, Elymer Norman Boucher – Age 73, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital in the presence of his family on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Elymer was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband to Iris, loving father to his sons Ryan (Paige) and Derek (Sacha), and doting Grandpa to Hudson and Eli.
Elymer was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Flo, his brother Clifford and sister Linda. He will be missed by his siblings, Ovelyn (Gilda), Irene (Vince), Wayne (Phyllis), Viola (Kenny), Debbie (Joe), Darlene (Edison), his many nieces, nephews, inlaws and friends.
Elymer was known for his calm demeanor, unique sense of humor and quick wit.
He loved to make videos for family, friends and anyone on YouTube who enjoyed his kind of music. With a heart tuned to the melodies of old country songs and an eye for “down-home” photos, he created many videos that we can enjoy for years to come.
He had a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs that never waned. He was a devoted fan and started each hockey season with renewed optimism.
He will stay forever in our hearts.
