Shirley Eleanor Boudreau

It is with great sadness that Shirley’s family announces her passing at home on Friday, March 20th, 2026. She was in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilfred James Boudreau, her daughter Karen Lynn and her parents, Earl & Eleanor Armitage. Loving mother of Barbara, William (Charlene), Nancy, and George (Leyda). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tracy, Annette (Scott), David (Hélène), Holly, Kenneth (Amanda), Crystal, Chris (Kristin), Mei, Patrick, Sherri, her great-grandchildren Aron (Carly), Lizzy (Jordan), Wilfred, Elysia, Owen (April), Zaida, Ryan, Rhys, and by her great great-grandchildren Ayden, Ryker, Ryley and Eleanor. Dear sister of Margaret Rigby, and also predeceased by her siblings Phyllis and Robert. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Shirley Eleanor Boudreau was a proud Foster Parent, helping many teens and infants – she and her husband had been recognized as Foster Parents of the Year in 1973 for their service to the CAS from 1967-1973.

Visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 28th, at 11:00 am. Spring Interment to follow at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Children’s Aid Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged as an expression of sympathy.
