BOUDREAULT, Richard Boudreault

On January 20, 2026, Phil “Crazy” Boudreault passed away, surrounded by love, at the age of 50. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Phil was a son, a husband, a father, and a brother who lived life loudly, proudly, and entirely on his own terms.

From the streets of Sudbury to the world stage, Phil carried a warrior’s heart. As a young man, he found his way into the sport of boxing, a path that led him to represent Canada at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, competing in the light welterweight division with the drive and grit that became his trademark. His commitment to discipline, courage, and sheer force of will earned him deep respect among fellow athletes and all who watched him step into the ring.

But Phil was never just one thing. He was many. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Megan, and a fiercely loving father to his daughter, Shanell Rose. He was first a son to his mother, Deborah Lavigne, and is now reunited in spirit with his father, Richard. He was a big brother to his sister Sarina, and his brothers Robert and Dakoda, and a much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews who will always remember his booming laugh and larger than life presence.

Phil was loyal to the bone. He gave his all to the brotherhood he embraced, riding with his motorcycle family in a way that reflected his tireless loyalty and his unshakable belief in standing by those he called his own.

He was loved by many, not only for the fights he fought in the ring or the miles he rode, but for the way he showed up in life with honesty, intensity, and an unwavering commitment to the people who mattered most to him. His impact was real, and his influence on the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Phil’s journey was one of twists and turns, of triumphs and challenges, much like a long ride along a winding highway under an open sky. He lived boldly, loved fiercely, and rode hard. Though he has left this world, the echo of his life will continue to be felt at every gathering, every open road, and every heart he touched.
