Passed away peacefully at the Marigold Hospice of Clarington on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Gregory McLennan; they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this year. Loving mother of Shawn (Caroline) and Stacey (Josh). Cherished grandmother of Cameron, Ian, Kyra, Kelsie, and Calista.

Lorraine was the daughter of Bernie (Gill) and Elizabeth (Bessie) McDonell (née McLeod) of Bridgend/Glen Nevis, ON. She was the second eldest of twelve siblings: Harold (Kathy), Randy (Sharon), and David (Lise), all of Bridgend; Jimmy (Margie)of Williamstown; Shannon McDonell and Barbara Fillion (Peter), both of Alexandria; Colleen Dakos (Frank) of Kitchener; and Kathy McCormick (Morris) of Lochiel.

She was predeceased by her brothers Chris (Yvonne) and Steven, her sister Sharon, and by her parents.

Lorraine was beloved sister-in-law to Jean Anne Marie, John Duncan (Jack)(Charlene), and James Blair McLennan.

Lorraine will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends near and far.

Relatives and friends may call at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St., Bowmanville (905‑623‑5668) on Monday, March 16, 2026, beginning at 12:30 p.m. A service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., followed by refreshments.

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Marigold Hospice Care would be appreciated by the family.
