BRAUEN, Fredrick Andrew Brauen

Entered into rest peacefully in his 81st year from West Haldimand General Hospital with his family by his side.

Fredrick Andrew Brauen was the beloved husband of Mary for 54 years. Dad of Jared (Megan) Brauen and Heidi (Glen) MacMillan. Grandfather of Madison, Cole, Olivia, Sophia, Jason, Russel, Kaylin (Tyler) Myers. Great Grandfather of Olivia, †Daxton, and Emma. He is survived by siblings Ruby Brauen, Phillip Brauen, Sharon Robinson, Kenneth Brauen, Paul Brauen, Joseph Brauen. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Lillian; and his siblings Ernest Brauen, Daniel Brauen, Faythe Colbert, Miriam Neale, David Brauen and Elizabeth Cannom.

He will be remembered by many people for his love and support of Hagersville Hawks Minor Hockey and for always being known for wearing his orange hat wherever he went.

Friends are invited to call at Cooper Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 1 p.m. with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Springvale to follow.
