Marie Betty Brooks passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025 in her 95 th year at Port Perry Lakeridge Hospital. Daughter of the late Annie Fraser.

Marie will always be remembered for her firey and stubborn personality.

She shared her life between Whitby, Oshawa and Warkworth Ontario.

Predeceased by her siblings Ivy, Alice, Bessie , Burt and Jack.

Beloved wife of Jim Brooks (predeceased August 18, 1980). They were married on December 1947.

Survived by her sons Jim Brooks and Bob Brooks ( Cindy predeceased).

Cherished Grandmother to Jaime Ball (Steve), Bob Brooks (Erika), Jim Brooks (Predeceased), Rebecca Paulin (Shane), Scott Brooks, Brandy Brooks and her 18 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive guests at the Funeral Home on Saturday July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am for visitation, followed by a Memorial Service with Lunch in to follow.

Cremation has taken place and the Funeral arrangements are in the care of the De Stefano Funeral Home located at 1289 Keith Ross Drive Oshawa, Ontario.

Many thanks to the great nursing staff at the Port Perry Hospital.

In lieu of flowers can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of your choice.
