Arnold “Arnie” Brown

February 23, 1937 – January 5, 2026

Elderly man smiling while holding green grapes.
He is survived by Bernice, his wife of 65 years; his children, Kevin (Christy), Grant, and Joni; grandchildren, Cory (widower of Layna), William, and Samara; and great-grandchildren, Cash, Tristan and Kruz; as well as his 2 sisters and 3 of his brother. He was predeceased by his parents; Henry and Annie; his brothers Ben, David, and Ernie; granddaughter Layna; and great-grandson Dominic.

Arnie was a giving and dedicated family man, who was loved dearly by all. He was known for his incredibly giving heart and exemplary work ethic. He loved to make pumpkin and apple pies, and platz to bless others. His famous smoked salmon and salmon pate, would be made from the fish he caught on his many fishing trips with his dear friends. He also will be remembered for his pickles and dilly beans, and the perogies that were cherished and savoured.  He had a heart for others and donated time volunteering, visiting, and giving generously to those in need.

There will be a Celebration of Arnie’s Life, officiated by Pastor Curtis Tulman, on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at Willowpark Church, 439 Hwy 33, Kelowna, BC. A reception at the church will follow the service.
