BROWN: Helen Jean (nee Main) – passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by family on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Jean Brown of Woodstock and formerly of Plattsville in her 97th year.

Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Brown who predeceased her June 4, 2004. Loving mother of Heather and husband Jim Yeck of Bright, Brenda & husband Dan LeClear of Putnam, Jim & wife Nancy, Deb Hadenko (Jeff Rau) and Bart (LeeAnne Charron) all of Plattsville. Sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Carol Main of RR#1 Plattsville.

Predeceased by her parents Roy & Irene (Thomson) Main, son-in-law Larry Hadenko, granddaughter Sarah Yeck, grandson Aaron Yeck and brother Bruce Main.

In her younger years Jean loved her horses, driving the wagons, and as time went on, found her love of quilting, knitting, curling and gardening. Jean was a life long employee of CIBC in Plattsville until her retirement.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Plattsville Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Wednesday from 2–4 & 6–8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 2pm. Interment to follow in Chesterfield Cemetery.
