BURCHAT, Anna Marie Burchat

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Anna Marie Burchat (née Loughran) at the age of 96 at her home in Centennial Place.

Anna Marie Burchat was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nelson Burchat, with whom she shared over 65 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her mother, Nora (Honan) Loughran, and by her brother, Hugh Loughran. She leaves behind her sons, Rev. Fr. Paul Burchat, Peter Burchat (Jeanette), and John Burchat (Wendy), who will cherish her memory and the many lessons she shared throughout her life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Anna was a woman of deep faith whose devotion to the Church remained a guiding force throughout her life. Her strong spiritual foundation, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her family and faith community touched all who knew her. She lived her life with grace, humility, and compassion, serving as an example of Christian love and devotion.

Anna will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by her gentle presence and steadfast faith.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church in Barry’s Bay on Friday June 12 @ 10:30 AM.
