BURKE, Susan “Sue” Burke

After a hard fought battle, Sue passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 64 years of age.

Loving mother of Ryan (Daniele) Beatty and Allyson Beatty. Proud Nana of Joshua and Caleb. Cherished daughter of Beverley Ralston. Dearest sister of Jeff (Cynthia) Burke. Beloved partner of James Carter. Sue will also be missed by her nephews Jason and Tyler.

Susan “Sue” Burke was full of life and lit up every room she was in. She was a strong-minded woman, kind, loving and caring. Sue will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Sue’s family would like to thank the staff at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for their care, compassion, and support.

A celebration of Sue’s life, will be held at a later date.
