It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Joan Burn at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Bowmanville on February 5th, 2025, at the age of 74.
Marilyn was the cherished wife of the late William Burn, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
She was a loving mother to Stephanie (Luke), Nicholas, and Matthew (Amber), and a devoted grandmother to Liam, Charlotte, and Alice.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Beatrice Mitchell, and is lovingly remembered by her siblings Rosanne Maclean, Beatrice Macko, and Michael Mitchell.
A celebration of life will take place at the Courtice Funeral Chapel – 1587 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Courtice, ON L1E 2R7, on Friday, February 21st, 2025, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the lower reception lounge.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for a donation to be made to the charity of your choice.
