Cindy Lou Burrows

It is with profound sadness Kevin shares the sudden death of his wife and best friend, Cindy Lou Burrows on Monday, August 3, 2026. Cindy is survived by her sisters, Trudy Moore (Jeff), Janet Holman (Dean) and Christa Paulin (Evan), her stepfather Walter Burrell and father, Val Lang. Most wonderful and craziest sister-in-law of the Burrows family, Don (Betty), Nancy (Wayne), Gary (Heather), Steve (Janet), Ross (Karin), Lynda (Brian predeceased), Todd (Jenny). Beloved niece of Anna Robison (Fred predeceased), Donna Vickers (Ed predeceased), Linda Chumko and John Fediuk. Step siblings Tammy Wheeldon (Al) and Charleen Parker (Terry predeceased). Cindy will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews, who she loved and treated like they were her own children, and by her many cousins, who considered her a cherished friend.

Predeceased by her mother, Maria Fediuk. grandparents Mykola and Katarina Fediuk and mother-in-law Jean Burrows.

Cindy was born and raised in Owen Sound. Known to many as the life of the party but also someone you could count on at a moments notice. Anyone who met Cindy knew instantly that they had met a truly genuine human who loved life and a great party. She had a quick sense of humour and so loved a prank. Her laugh will remain in our minds forever, along with the heartfelt hugs that she gave everyone.

In “Lou” of flowers the family requests donations to Owen Sound Animal Shelter or Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or Second Chance Animal Sanctuary and Rescue. Cindy loved every creature put on this earth.

Celebration of life on to be held on Aug 29, 2026, at the Owen Sound Legion, 1450 2nd Ave West, from 2 to 5 pm with a “beer o’clock” tribute at 3 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E.
